This policy explains what personal data Young Value Co. (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit this store or buy from us, why we use it, and the rights you have. We are based in Belgium and process your data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Order data: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, items ordered, payment confirmation (we never see or store your full card details).
  • Account and communication data: messages you send us through the contact form, and your newsletter preference.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser, pages viewed and cookies — see “Cookies” below.

Why we use it

  • To process and deliver your order, handle returns and provide customer service (contract).
  • To meet legal obligations such as accounting and tax records (legal obligation).
  • To prevent fraud and keep the store secure (legitimate interest).
  • To send drop updates and offers — only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).

Who we share it with

Only with the services we need to run the store: Shopify (our e-commerce platform and checkout), payment providers, shipping carriers, and — if you subscribed — our email service. They process your data on our behalf. Some of these providers may process data outside the EU; in that case appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice data for as long as the law requires (in Belgium, 7 years for accounting records). Marketing data until you unsubscribe. Contact messages for as long as needed to answer you.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies to run the store and the cart. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used with your consent, which you can change at any time through the cookie banner.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. Send your request through our contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page.
